Philadelphia Pilot - The Rocky Moment

What We Learned in Philly

DadsPhilly Our Philadelphia pilot proved something powerful: when you meet Dads where they are, celebrate their desire to show up strong for their kids, and create opportunities for real community action—they respond. We built community across multiple events where we had fun - for real, we played darts, pool, and Mario Kart - and engaged in real conversation about fatherhood. When a local Dad elevated a need to revitalize Wissahickon Valley Park, a community landmark, our Dad squad showed up with force. We brought our kids, grabbed the shovels and shears, and got down to business. Achievement unlocked.

This wasn't about converting anyone. It was about creating space for Dads to be themselves, connect with each other, and channel their energy into building stronger communities. Now we're taking it nationwide with Dads Stand Up.
